Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the lands on which the DECYDE team at Memorial University is situated are in the traditional territories of diverse Indigenous groups, and we acknowledge with respect the diverse histories and cultures of the Beothuk, Mi’kmaq, Innu, and Inuit of Newfoundland and Labrador. We also recognize that our research, staff, students, volunteers, and participants live and operate across many Indigenous territories across Turtle Island. We acknowledge and are accountable to the history of colonialism and its impact on our work.
