The DECYDE lesson plans were developed to align with the health curriculum outcomes set by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Education. Each grade level includes multiple lessons addressing topics related to mental health and substance use. Grounded in a skills-based health education approach, the lessons emphasize decision-making and include detailed plans, interactive activities, teacher discussion guides, and supplementary materials to support effective classroom delivery.
