Access to therapeutic abortion services in Newfoundland and Labrador are available through the Athena Centre and Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s.

Athena Centre:

• You can call 709-754-3572 to book an appointment. A referral from your doctor is not required.
• There is no age requirement, and parental consent is not required.

Health Sciences Centre:

• All patients must be referred by a doctor.
• Youth under the age of 19 must have parental consent.
